Fresh on the tour schedule are Ben Folds Five shows here and there across the south and midwest, and one in Holyoke, Massachusetts, in September. In addition to the previously announced shows in New York and Pensacola, new shows are added in North and South Carolina, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Austin and Kansas City. Ben Folds Five touring the UK this fall
It’s been announced that the reunited and reconstituted Ben Folds Five (Ben, Darren, Robert) will do an eight-show tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland later this fall.
The tour kicks off in Bournemouth on November 23, and visits Nottingham, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, and wraps up in London December 4.

The Sing-Off’s Kenton to open for Folds
Kenton Chen, founding member of the a cappella group The Backbeats, will open for Ben’s four shows next week in North Carolina and Virginia. Kenton, the Backbeats’ musical director, is working on an EP and has two tracks available for download on bandcamp.com. He also has an album, Something about Love, on iTunes as well. (more…)
Tulsa show rescheduled
The Tulsa, Okla., show, originally scheduled for February 1, 2011, has been rescheduled. The new date is Thursday, July 7, at Cain’s Ballroom. (more…)

Virginia show dates announced
Ben will fit in a couple shows stateside between the Europe and Australia tours. He’ll be in Norfolk April 13 and Richmond on April 14.  Tickets on sale to the public shortly; the fan club members get first crack starting February 24.
