Twenty-Seven Years and still Frank Maynard's Original Ben Folds Website
It’s been announced that the reunited and reconstituted Ben Folds Five (Ben, Darren, Robert) will do an eight-show tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland later this fall.
The tour kicks off in Bournemouth on November 23, and visits Nottingham, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, and wraps up in London December 4.

Kenton Chen, founding member of the a cappella group The Backbeats, will open for Ben’s four shows next week in North Carolina and Virginia. Kenton, the Backbeats’ musical director, is working on an EP and has two tracks available for download on bandcamp.com. He also has an album, Something about Love, on iTunes as well. (more…)
The Tulsa, Okla., show, originally scheduled for February 1, 2011, has been rescheduled. The new date is Thursday, July 7, at Cain’s Ballroom. (more…)
Ben will fit in a couple shows stateside between the Europe and Australia tours. He’ll be in Norfolk April 13 and Richmond on April 14.  Tickets on sale to the public shortly; the fan club members get first crack starting February 24. Show details on the Tour Dates page. Update: A couple more shows announced, at Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. and at Virginia Tech.
Ben announces in a Tweet that the February 1 show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been cancelled due to the impending major snowstorm expected to affect the area. The show will be rescheduled at a date to be announced. Cain’s Ballroom says tickets will be good for the replacement show. It’s not so much that the band can’t get there, but many fans wouldn’t be able to make it and Ben didn’t want people to have to miss the show and waste a ticket. We’ll have information on the rescheduled show as soon as it’s available.
